I understand that Honda Hub is a service offered by The Minery Ltd. to Honda Canada Inc. in association with several third-party affiliates. Furthermore, I understand that The Minery Ltd. is committed to protecting my privacy and developing technology that offers me the most powerful and safe experience.

I understand that The Minery Ltd., its affiliates, and service providers collect, utilize and share my personal information for the purposes of operating, maintaining, and providing the features and functionality of the Honda Hub. I consent to The Minery Ltd., its affiliates and its service providers contacting me by email. This Privacy Statement applies to the Honda Hub and governs data collection and usage. By using the Honda Hub, I consent to the data practices described in this statement. The Minery Ltd. provides Honda Hub as an Honda Canada Inc. brand service. The Minery Ltd. is strongly committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of its clients.

Why does The Minery Ltd. Collect Personal Information on the Honda Hub?

The Minery Ltd. requests that you provide information such as your first and last name, position title, associate identification number and email address when you register for an Honda associate user account and profile. We ask for such information for the purposes of:

  1. registering you to use our services;
  2. enabling you to use the services of the Honda Hub;
  3. subscribing you to Honda Hub services, email notifications and updates;
  4. sending you email notifications which you have specifically requested;
  5. dealing with inquiries, complaints, and/or support requests made by you relating to the Honda Hub;
  6. measuring traffic and usage trends for the website and services;
  7. administering the Honda Hub; and
  8. meeting our legal obligations and other legitimate business purposes.

The Minery will never sell your information to a third party, or share it with any other organization for marketing purposes.

What Personal Information Does The Minery Ltd. Collect and how is it Collected?

The Minery Ltd. collects information necessary for the aforementioned purposes that will enable it to identify you, including your name, dealership, position title, associate identification number, and email address. The Minery Ltd. collects this information directly from you, Honda Canada Inc., and our affiliates.

The Minery Ltd. keeps track of the webpages and services accessed within the Honda Hub in order to determine customer usage and improve the platform and services offered. The Honda Hub collects “cookies” which are small data files stored on your computer’s hard drive. The Honda Hub uses cookies and/or local storage to collect and store login tokens which authorize the associate to access the platform.

How Does The Minery Ltd. Safeguard Your Personal Information?

At The Minery Ltd., we are committed to protecting the personal information in our possession. The Honda Hub follows firm security standards to protect the confidentiality of your personal information and to guarantee that it is used for the intended purposes. Only authenticated users are able to access the application interface. User accounts are created by system administrators and issued to approved users. All user passwords are encrypted in the database so that they can be read by no one. For all server communication, GeoTrust SSL certificates are used to ensure that any intercepted data cannot be read.
